PROPHETESS MWAKA…DAUGHTER OF INONGE MBIKUSITA LEWANIKA FAILS TO FILE IN NOMINATION ON MMD TICKET FOR KANYAMA CONSTITUENC
I want to take this opportunity to appreciate you beloved family, friends and colleagues here in Zambia, Kenya and in the USA for the overwhelming support I have received during my campaign as Aspiring Member of Parliament for Kanyama wow ! I am so overwhelmed by your love, care and concern through the many many phone calls, messages and enquiries I have received.
Very special thanks to my beloved husband Apostle Darius Twagirayesu for your love, care, covering, investment and generosity. Nitumezi Ima my sweet Mum Dr. Inonge Mbikusita-lewanika for being my support system!! My 5 darling children Zach, Trey, Prince, Angela & Isaac for understanding why I had to be here in Zambia you have been my cheering squad and my No1 fans lol
Yesterday (May 17) I filed my nomination at Chinika Secondary school in Kanyama. I had ALL the documentation required except the Voters Card.
I was NOT in Zambia when Voter Card registration begun last year and was unable to travel due to covid travel restrictions. By the time I arrived in Zambia end of December, voter registration was closed. We had hoped Voter registration would open up but it never did!
I am so grateful for the outstanding support I have received from Our New Hope MMD Party President
Dr Nevers Sekwila Mumba, Vice President Political Rev. Reuben Sambo, Vice President Admin Hon Winnie Zaloumis , National Secretary Hon Elizabeth Katongo Chitika and Our National Executive throughout this process.
Even though my nomination did NOT go through because of the 1 missing requirement. I am very encouraged, strong and optimistic that my Political Career has just begun!! I have learned so much the last 5 months.
I will continue to serve on Our New Hope MMD National Executive as Chair, International Relations, I will definitely continue to help in Our Campaign during this election period.
To the beautiful people of Kanyama
you know how much I love you!! ❤️ 💜I will continue my work that I had already started in the Kanyama community through Our WE CARE Foundation.

Thank you so much for wishing me well.
No service we ever do is in vain!!
This DREAM will come to pass one day!!!
