WE ARE NOT ALL SPONSORED BY PF…UPND SHOULD STOP THIS BLANKET ACCUSATION – MSON

President Msoni urges the UPND to resist the temptation of making demeaning blanket political statements to assert that other Opposition political parties have been funded by the PF.

We think that such a political statement does not help to consolidate the Opposition ranks.

The UPND had an opportunity to demonstrate leadership by reaching out to all the other Opposition political parties but failed to do so and therefore they did not expect that the other political parties would remain idle and in a comatose state under the circumstance.

We deeply regret this statement and we urge our colleagues to do the right thing by withdrawing such a demeaning and disrespectful political statement which is only meant to scandalise and discredit the standing of other political leaders in the eyes of the public.

Kindly understand that the paying of these high nomination fees was a statement to those who thought raising the bar would totally disadvantage and discourage the opposition political parties from participating in the elections.

In a nutshell these are the most expensive and corrupt elections in Africa undoubtedly.
